Overview
The successful candidate will provide hands-on and remote best-in-class software security architecture, code development, installation and configuration of the Company’s Network Security Platform (IPS), Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) product portfolio. The candidate should possess a broad knowledge of modern security terminology and controls and be able to directly map and address complex security requirements to our Client’s product and consulting suites.

Basic Function and Scope of the Position 
Deliver onsite and remote security designs, implementations and training for a wide variety of customers focusing on IPS, SIEM and NGFW.
Be able to identify gaps in application and network security architecture and recommend strategies using a combination of industry-standard security best practices, software controls and other necessary changes to promote a higher level of information security practices.
Write formal engagement reports, architecture designs, optimization guides and best-practice white papers covering a variety of topics within Risk and Compliance.
Participate in conference calls, onsite meetings and roundtables with customers, sales, internal product development and support to gather data, scope new and existing work, evaluate or suggest new product features and assist in resolving existing product issues.
Recognize and generate potential product and consulting services sales leads when appropriate and necessary.
Ability to transform business requirements for correlating security events into views, reports, custom parsers and/or watchlists.
Design, implement and optimize applications within a virtualized environment.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills
Consulting background, with a focus on security application implementations and integrations
Experience with designing/implementing IPS, SIEM or MGFW in MSSP environments
The candidate is required to be passionate about Software and Application Security and have hands-on experience.
Candidates with direct experience with similar Risk and Compliance technologies and a background in security application architecture (or strong pre-sales/sales engineering/training experience in these areas) are also encouraged to apply. 
Be able to quickly learn, interpret and write simple to intermediate scripts/code in any of the following scripting or application languages: JavaScript, T-SQL/SQL, Perl, C#, C++, PowerShell, CScript, Unix shell (KSH, Bash, etc.), Python, and/or ePO-API.
Position will require up to 70% travel, with some occasional remote, home-based work.
